Browse content and pin favorites¶
Gloopy has a browser — a collapsible panel down the left side — that gathers the things you drop into a project in one place. Toggle it with the ☰ button in the toolbar. Along the top of the panel are tabs, and each row inside a tab does something when you click it.
You can also drag a row out of the browser and drop it onto the arrangement — it does the same thing as clicking (adds the plugin, imports the sample, seeds the template, loads the patch), whichever you find quicker.
Dropping is position-aware for samples: drop a sample onto an existing track and it lands as an audio clip at the bar you dropped it on, instead of creating a new track — so you can place a hit or loop exactly where you want it. Drop a sample on empty space (or below the tracks) and it still gets its own new audio track as before.
The tabs¶

Favorites — pin the things you reach for¶
The Favs tab is your own shortlist. Instead of hunting through the plugin list or the samples folder every time, pin the handful you actually use and they all sit together in one tab.
- To pin an item: right-click any row in the Templates, Plugins, Samples, or Presets tab and choose Add to Favorites.
- To use a favorite: open the Favs tab and click it — it does exactly what the original row did (add the plugin, import the sample, seed the template, load the patch).
- To unpin: right-click the favorite in the Favs tab and choose Remove from Favorites.
Favorites are part of your setup, not the song — they follow you across every project, the same way your saved templates and presets do. (They're kept in a small file in Gloopy's application-data folder, so they persist between sessions.)
